Terms of use

1. The service and scope of these terms

MacroLens is a macroeconomic indicators database service created and provided by Sixty Four OÜ (registry code 12354921, Kolde pst 23, 10412 Tallinn, Estonia). The service is available at https://macrolens.sixtyfour.ee and through a Microsoft Excel add-in.

These terms apply to users who were given access by their organisation under a contract concluded with Sixty Four OÜ. If these terms conflict with the contract, the contract prevails.

2. Accounts

  • Every user has a personal account and individual login credentials. Login credentials, the authenticator app and personal access tokens must not be passed on to other people.
  • If you suspect that your credentials or an access token have become known to others, change your password, revoke the token immediately and inform support.
  • Accounts are given to the persons designated by your organisation. The organisation may ask for an account to be removed or given to another employee.

3. Using the service

  • The number of sign-ins and operations is unlimited.
  • The service may be used for lawful purposes only. It is forbidden to try to bypass access controls, to access other users' data, to deliberately disrupt the service or to probe it for vulnerabilities without the consent of Sixty Four OÜ.

4. Data and sources

  • Time-series data is collected automatically from the official dissemination channels of the sources; every series shows its source.
  • The data is used under the sources' terms of use — see Licences and attributions. When you use the data in your work, cite the original source.
  • The information in the database is of an informational nature — see the Disclaimer.

5. Your content

  • Analyses, charts, tables, formulas, edited values, user series, reports and presentations that you create in MacroLens belong to your organisation.
  • Sixty Four OÜ uses your content only to provide the service. It is not used for any other purpose, not passed to third parties and not processed by any analytics or artificial-intelligence service.
  • You can export your content in open formats at any time. When the contract ends, the content is returned and/or deleted as set out in the contract.

6. Confidentiality and security

  • The service is provided from infrastructure located in the European Union / European Economic Area.
  • Connections to the service are encrypted (HTTPS), sign-in is protected by two-factor authentication, passwords are stored only as cryptographic hashes, and sign-ins and administrative actions are logged.
  • Sixty Four OÜ staff access your content only when needed to provide the service or to handle your request; such access is logged.
  • Processing of personal data is described in the privacy notice.

7. Availability, updates and support

  • The service is available around the clock except for technical maintenance known in advance, which is announced in advance.
  • After a source updates a time series, the updated series is placed in MacroLens within 24 hours at the latest.
  • Support and fixing deadlines are described on the Support and service levels page.

8. Intellectual property

  • The MacroLens software, its design and the data catalogue are the property of Sixty Four OÜ.
  • Open-source components are used under their licences — see Licences and attributions.
  • Rights in the time-series data belong to the respective sources.

9. Changes to these terms and contact

Sixty Four OÜ may update these terms when the service or the law changes; material changes are announced in the service. Changes do not alter the contract.
